Late Night Swim

Avvi was awoken by the creaking of the floorboards of the Eos cabin. Once she lifted her sleepy head from her pillow, whatever had made the sound had gone. She sighed and laid her head back down, but she couldn't go back to sleep. Every little sound, every little whistle of the wind and and rustle of the trees kept her eyes open, so she decided to just get up and go somewhere it would hopefully be more calming.

Without even bothering to brush down her auburn coloured messy hair, she changed into her swimsuit, and over it, basketball shorts and a shirt that read, 'Play records, don't break 'em' and went outside, shoeless. She breathed in the crisp night air as she jogged down to the beach. The sand was cool between her toes and the water was still as glass. Gazing around the Sound, she went to the water's edge and put her feet in the cool water. Then she sat down right at the water's edge and closed her eyes.

Once she'd gotten used to the water she took off her shirt, leaving her in a bikini top and very large basketball shorts that went to her knees. She dove into the water before she could change her mind, and surfaced quickly. The night air hit her face and was, as expected, even colder. She dove down again, the water suddenly seemed a lot warmer than the air. Surfacing again, she started to swim around in the moderately shallow area, not even noticing that her aura was strong again, and was making the water an eerie purple-ish colour.

As Avvi doved to the bottom again she could feel something... she didn't see anything, but something was there. She surfaced again and took a deep breath of the cold air. There was something dark on her. That was creepy.
"GETTIT OFF!" She yelled, trying to find whatever it was. "What the heck is it?"
It became dark all of a sudden again and she sighed. "...Anybody there?" Her voice was strangely quiet. Yes, now she was sure of it. There was another... thing... near the beach.

My water dragon carried me to the water I had sensed... a entire ocean. Sweet. I jumped off into the waves, the dragon dissolving back into water droplets. After I was under, I felt the powers of the entire world all around me. Nothing had as much control as the ocean. I had the water shoot me out onto the beach. Crap... there were others here. TWO others. Curse luck.

I could see the other girl camper here... and creepy guy. "Was I missing out on some secret meeting or something?" Or maybe they were on a date.... Heheh...

Both demi-titans from earlier were now there. Avvi grinned at the both of them.
"Hi!" She said, starting to swim back towards the shore. Once she got there, she heard the girl say something about a secret meeting. "Not that I know of..." She replied picking up her shirt from the sand. "What brings you two here?"

"Exploring the camp. Did you know there's some kind of playground here? I saw it when I was flying around..."

"I had no idea..." Avvi giggled. This camp was turning out to be a strange one indeed. She had been busy most of the afternoon trying to figure out how to call her dad, and also making her cabin more homey. There were posters of The Beatles all over the wall, along with several other bands like Death Cab for Cutie and The Yardbirds. There were also random cows on the wall, along with many other things she loved. "How has your day been?"

"Crap... I wanted to use a hurricane on it. Why'd you spoil my dang fun?"

"But I didn't get the hammer, so it's not fun at all."

"No," Avvi said pointedly. These kids were destruction maniacs. Sure, burning down houses and setting fire to random things was fun sometimes, but if they went to burn down the other camp at the moment, it wouldn't do them any good. "Besides, we can do other stuff here... like..." She trailed off, totally blanking.

Avvi stared at the spot where the guy used to be standing. He had called San Diego stupid, and of course, Avvi couldn't see why. Then he disappeared.
"Wonder where he disappeared off to." She said. "Well, if he went to destroy San Diego, than I'm not saving him from any monsters or demigods..."

"I think I'll go destroy stuff too." I made a water platform that carried me away.

Avvi sighed. Despite what she just said, she wanted to see how the Hades they were going to try and wreak havoc on San Diego. She left in a flash of light as the morning star and the beach was empty again. The waves weren't very calm anymore, but the golden sand was undisturbed. All was normal again.

I appeared, and sat down.

I appeared. "Hello."
