BORED OUT OF MY MIND!

When she started crying I panicked. Did I trigger something that shouldn't have been triggered? My mind was freaking out. I wanted to pull some comforting memories from her mind but I didn't want to intrude.

Finally, after some careful consideration, I sat next to her and gave her awkward one-armed hug.

Awkward being the operative word here.

I smile. This was. . . AWKWARD! But her intention was good. I whisper. "Thanks. . . .Just a memory. . . ."

"You're very much welcome," I replied. "So...it was a memory...those can be such a pain."

Hey, maybe this was awkward but at least it was for the right thing, right?

Right?

I nod.
"My memories especially. . . Not a very good childhood."

"I wish I could relate. I mean, I can say I didn't do things on my own, but, my childhood was relatively easy," I whispered.

I couldn't even begin to relate to these kids...

I drily laugh.
"If you're here, . . . your life's never gonna be easy."

I huffed.

"Don't you think I know that? It's kind of scary," I snorted.

I smile.
"At least your not an optimistic."

I chuckled despite myself.

"Yeah...you're not an optimist, are you?" I asked in mock panic.

I hold my hands up jokingly.
"Nope, no optimism here." I giggle slighty. Maybe this place wasn't all bad

Strangely enough, I laughed. And laughed. And laughed.

I strangled out a breath.

"I've never laughed this hard before in my life!" I squealed, laughing.

There really wasn't anything to laugh about, but, carefree shouldn't be exclusive to normal people.

I giggle. This girl was WEIRD! BUt nice.
I get up and say to her, "I gotts to go. Bye." I leave

My giggling subsided. I waved and wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Bye!"

And there I was, back at the beginning...

Alone.
